Pictures from today's baking bonanza. : ) Kudos to Vanessa, Irene, and Sharanya for taming a sticky scone batter with bare hands, bringing a divine extra-dark chocolate cookie recipe, and coming up with the genius blueberry-apple combo, respectively.

Annie made a green tea chiffon cake with fresh strawberry mousse. Connie used a heart-shaped cookie cutter to create this slice, adding some handmade dark chocolate pistachio cranberry bark as garnish. Savor with the eyes!
To the right just below there is some red bean mochi, cut into slices and plated on a decorative blue ceramic dish with a sprig of mint from the garden.
